About us
The year was 1999 and Airlines were having difficulties all around but in
the mind of a young Bahamian Pilot, Pineapple Air Limited was born.
The company was formed with a small amount of funds from his savings
and financing in place for a C99 Airliner (15 seater plane). Pineapple
Air received permission to operate a Charter Company through out the
Islands of the Bahamas and the Caribbean and gradually built a good
reputation for efficient service coupled with reasonable rates.
K. Michael Carey had a love for flying from an early age and qualified
himself by receiving the necessary certifications to fly the friendly skies.
He worked in his family business for some years and purchased his first
plane to fly the Islands of the Bahamas as a hobby and take his family
on vacations.

Chub Cay, in addition to the Charter service it provides to the public.
Pineapple Air today has a staff of 18 which includes some of the best
pilots in the Bahamas and a fleet of four planes including two 19 seaters.
We are growing and getting better with each flight to ensure that
Pineapple Air remains "The sweetest way to fly".
